Description:
Leavitt Partners LLC is seeking a graduating Brigham Young University student interested in health policy research, market/economic research and business development. New team members will have a variety of responsibilities including: research, health policy analysis, assistance with client deliverables and administrative duties in Leavitt Partners’ Salt Lake City, Utah office.
New team members receive a thorough education in health care economics and policy through the lens of various industry stakeholders, including providers, health plans, pharmacy, and states.
Additional responsibilities:
• Produce research and analysis derived from different public and private sources on a broad variety of topics
• Consistent monitoring of the health care environment through news sources, journals, and general publications
• Regular interface with senior staff
• Assist Strategic Analysts and Partners in completing and delivering work product(s) in agreed-upon timeframe within the contracted budget
Qualifications:
• Completed or candidate for a degree (Bachelor’s or Masters)
• 3.5 GPA or higher
• Interest in health care and public policy
• Knowledge of word processing, PowerPoint and database software is important
• Excellent research, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex findings to non-technical audiences
• Highly motivated, with demonstrated success working as a team member in a fast-paced interdisciplinary environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and strict timelines
