Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Administrative Intern

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Manage 2-1-1 text message reminders to callers with VITA appointments 
  2. Provide support in managing relationships with VITA Regional Coordinators and other partners 
  3. Provide support in managing/troubleshooting issues related to VITA 
  4. Provide support in managing 2-1-1 VITA scheduling software 
  5. Assist in the creation of evaluation methods/tools for community partners 2-1-1 works with on VITA 
  6. Other duties as assigned

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Administrative Fellow works directly with the Genesis Health System President and CEO and other senior executives on a variety of key operational, financial and strategic issues. Fellows participate in the strategic decision making process at the highest level, where Genesis’ CEO, CFO and hospital administrators debate, discuss and decide organizational strategies and priorities. As a working member of the Genesis Health System Executive Council and Genesis Medical Center Administrative Council, and a contributing member of the hospital’s Medical Executive and Health Services Councils, the fellow is directly involved in the management of critical issues facing the hospital. The purpose of this fellowship is to train individuals who will be future hospital and system CEOs.

Project Manager - Divisional Initiatives & Corporate Engagement (UVU)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Manages all division-wide and inter-departmental projects to ensure efficient and effective execution. Functions as a liaison for university-wide projects that impact the Division of Development. Maintains the portfolio of UVU’s corporate partners. Monitors the corporate engagement process from identification through cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Facilitates on-campus visits by corporations. In collaboration with the University Events Department and other campus partners, plans and executes corporate engagement events. Identifies and pursues funding opportunities with external foundations and then stewards awards from foundations.
  3. Develops and oversees the university’s matching gifts program by identifying strategic philanthropic partners. Promotes the creation of new matching gift programs with regional and national corporations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1.     Demonstrate customer service and patient safety values which are key to providing high quality service to patients and guests.
2.     Conduct statistical, financial, operational and other analyses to support management proposals and decisions.
3.     Provide project assistance to multiple areas of hospital operations including but not limited to cardiology, perioperative, imaging, and support services.
