This is a new position in the Shared Accountability Department and will be assigned 50% to 75% to SelectHealth to manage the project planning for the deployment of new payment models. As a member of the Shared Accountability team, this individual will work as a member of the team guiding the development and implementation of Intermountain’s Shared Accountability strategy.
Job Essentials:
Function as a Project Manager / Project Consultant for the initiative. This will include working with teams across the system that are working on Shared Accountability to review / validate / or help create project work plans.
Manage the project work plan – ensuring that key milestones are identified, resource requirements are identified, gaps are addressed, and that the project plan tracking is current and accurate.
Participate as a member of the Shared Accountability team. Beyond the specific tasks associated with Project Management, this individual may be asked to help support the project in other ways. This may include participating in the communications plan, conducting analysis, or other activities helpful to the initiative.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree obtained through an accredited institution; Education is verified
Four years of project related work experience
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated data analysis skills
Demonstrated advanced knowledge and experience with computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications
Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problems solving skills
Physical Requirements
Hearing/Listening, Manual Dexterity, Sitting, Speaking
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management experience
Working knowledge of healthcare reform
Proven experience in implementing complex changes across a large organization
