Description: The Director of Major Gifts should be an externally focused, relationship oriented development professional with a very high level of integrity, professionalism and sense of confidentiality. The position will need a high level of energy and be available as necessary to respond to customer service requests.
This position will develop and implement from scratch a Major Gifts strategy for United Way of Utah County. They will be responsible for cultivating, developing and managing relationships with individual donors and potential donors, including managing solicitation activities, recognition activities, promotional and solicitation materials, and tracking systems. They will serve as the primary point of contact and relationship manager at United Way for major donors.
