Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
1. Researching and analyzing municipal credits for
purchase by the Bancorporation or its affiliates
2. Provide recommendations for potential
investment/lending opportunities
3. Become familiar with a broad range of municipal
sectors including tax and revenue backed credits
4. Produce written memorandums outlining
quantitative and qualitative analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of each
transaction
5. Monitor investments on an ongoing basis to
determine risk grade for each investment and overall suitability for the
portfolio
6. Work with other analysts to support team and
department objectives
7. Contribute to the creation of financial models
for the assessment of credit risk and the valuation of portfolio securities
8. Other duties as assigned
