The Utah state department of commerce has an internship
position as a Project management Specialist
Description:
While the projects for this position will be developed as
needs arise, some of the immediate needs include:
1. Studying
important public policy issues, especially nursing education policy and
telehealth.
2. Answering
and creating a database of answers for pharmacy law questions
3. Improving
DOPL’s supervisor or employee training programs.
4. Evaluating
licensing fee impacts and policies
5. Identifying
and preparing ideas for outreach to different professional groups
Qualifications:
Individuals who have previously worked in this position have
undertaken important projects that assisted in advancing the mission of DOPL.
Each person has considered their experience valuable for their career. Of the
three individuals who have worked for me in this role during the past five
years, two of them moved on to good positions in state government.
