Job Title: Economic
Development Strategy Intern
Wage Rate: DOE
Hours: Up to 15 Hours per week on a flexible
schedule. Temporary assignment expected
to continue approximately four months.

Qualifications: 1. Must be
currently seeking a graduate degree in geography, planning, public
administration, economic development or related field, or hold similar
Bachelor’s degree.
2. Must have thorough knowledge and skill in the use of Microsoft
programs, including Word, Excel and Project.
Experience with web-based research desired.
Skills Required: Excellent
writing, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to professionally interact with elected officials, jurisdictions
and state staff. Must have good
organizational skills and the ability to work independently with limited
supervision.
Job Description: This
internship will provide an individual with valuable hands-on experience in the
day-to-day operations of a small governmental organization. The selected applicant will primarily be
responsible for researching and drafting the Disaster Recovery and
Environmental Review sections of a Regional Economic Development Plan.
