Project Manager - Divisional Initiatives & Corporate Engagement (UVU)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Manages all division-wide and inter-departmental projects to ensure efficient and effective execution. Functions as a liaison for university-wide projects that impact the Division of Development. Projects may include, but are not restricted to, 1) planning and preparing complex reports and making presentations for influential donors and university leaders and 2) assisting Alumni Relations with implementation of remote outreach programs. Prepares written collateral materials in support of donor engagement efforts and identifies, proposes, and implements programs to enhance departmental effectiveness. Monitors performance based on divisional resources compared to essential metrics and PBA requests and distributions. Maintains and manages the divisional project management software. Promotes and monitors divisional professional development endeavors.
  2. Supports the Director – CFR/DOS with the operation of UVU’s Corporate & Foundation Relations Program. Conducts the university wide corporate engagement survey. Maintains the portfolio of UVU’s corporate partners. Monitors the corporate engagement process from identification through cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Facilitates on-campus visits by corporations. In collaboration with the University Events Department and other campus partners, plans and executes corporate engagement events. Identifies and pursues funding opportunities with external foundations and then stewards awards from foundations.
  3. Develops and oversees the university’s matching gifts program by identifying strategic philanthropic partners. Promotes the creation of new matching gift programs with regional and national corporations.
