Time Frame/Hours: 10 hours/week during Fall 2016 semester. Once selected, a schedule will be established to fit candidate’s and UNA’s needs.
Work Site: Remotely in either Utah or Weber County. Bimonthly travel to UNA offices in SLC during regular working hours M-F, 9:00-5:00.

Description:
UNA is working to increase exposure and membership in Utah and Weber Counties and is in search of an intern who can play an integral role in making that happen. Key functions of this internship include:
- Act as the local champion for UNA, distributing printed material and information about UNA, referring nonprofits to the resources UNA provides and promoting the value of membership in UNA.
- Take the pulse of local nonprofits to provide UNA with information on how UNA can best serve the nonprofits in the region, and what training and resources will be best received in the area.
- Promote UNA’s networking and training events in Weber and Utah County (respectively). Help build UNA’s mailing list with nonprofit professionals.
- Because this position operates remotely from the Salt Lake office, communicating with other UNA personnel via telephone, and email on a regular basis will be of particular importance to keep all staff aware of regional activities, relate member and nonmember feedback and to remain abreast of statewide activities and initiative.
- Organize 2 social events in the area
- Attend periodic virtual meetings with UNA staff and other networking interns around the state.

Compensation:
A $500 stipend will be offered for this internship and split into two $250 payments.
