Job description

As Primary Intelligence continues to grow as the market leader in providing win loss analysis and customer experience solutions, the company is seeking experienced analysts/editors to add to our analysis and editing team.

As an Analyst/Copy Editor your primary responsibility will be editing verbatim transcriptions of telephone interviews with our clients’ buyers and analyzing those same interviews to write concise summaries of the intelligence identified during the interview. You will need to be an experienced and talented editor.

Successful candidates will be able to function well in a fast-paced, team environment and be passionate about the quality and accuracy of their work.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyzing and writing executive summaries of win loss analysis and customer experience interviews
Editing transcriptions of telephone interviews to correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, style and syntax
Following standardized editorial workflows
Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and perform well under deadline pressures
Able to work on shifting schedules based on workload and extending hours as required

Location:

Local and remote/home office candidates accepted
Remote candidates must have excellent home office environment

Desired Skills and Experience

BS/BA in English, journalism, linguistics, or related field preferred
Strong knowledge of grammar, style and a demonstrated ability to polish copy
Experience with quantitative and qualitative market research is a plus
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Must have excellent computer skills, including strong background with word processing, spreadsheets and presentation applications
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
