Intern job description:

Sunshine Heroes Foundation is seeking part-time interns to work on a number of development projects.  There will be opportunities to move into a full-time job as Director of Development.

Desired skills include professionalism, ambition, self-starter, creative, knowledge of non-profit sector, and excellent writing ability, graphic design and multimedia skills a plus.

Projects: 

•     Develop New Media Kit

•     Annual Report

•     Donor contact products: Once-a-year mailer updates, New donor packets, Thank you letters, Tax receipts & inserts, Newsletter content

•     Donor recognition strategies (both at conventions/events and throughout the year)

•     Blog posts

•     Project research (finding causes that fit our health criteria)

•     NSP mission alignment with founding sponsor

•     E-commerce products

•     Convention pitch/campaign

•     Credit card expirations: keeping up-to-date on this

•     Gift Works ins & outs
