Description: A Management Assistant II
in the Information Technology Department provides direct managerial support for
the Chief Information Officer and two Assistant Chief Information Officers and
acts as a liaison with the Human Resources Department to coordinate all related
personnel, employee benefit, and safety functions. This assignment includes
research in IT employee development, IT benchmarking, and metrics. This
role includes communications with web site content, presentations, marketing,
and special projects to develop or create the framework and processes for new
programs.
A Management Assistant II is a professional classification that performs
a variety of moderately difficult-to-complex administrative research work in
support of a department or division that may involve independent research and
analysis of management systems, policies and practices, and accounting control
procedures.
