Salary: $58,359
– $65,000 annually

Description: Performs inventory,
technical, and non-technical procurements for parts, supplies, equipment, and
services. Plans, prepares, issues,
negotiates, manages, and awards solicitations, blanket purchase orders,
purchase orders, and contracts for UTA in accordance with policies and
procedures – and in compliance with FTA regulations and other federal and state
laws. Conducts procurement and
management of UTA’s fuel and petroleum products contracts. Administers the company purchase card
program. Documents procurement
activities and monitors vendor performance (of both prime and subcontractors)
to ensure compliance with all contractual terms, conditions, and government
regulations including issues involving safety, environmental, rail right-of-way
access; and Federal wage rates, EEO and DBE requirements.
Experience: Three
years previous job related work experience with demonstrated progressive
competence in contract negotiation and administration, strategic sourcing,
vendor management, or other procurement work experience. Familiarity with contract law and applicable
federal and state procurement laws, regulations, and procedures including FTA
Circular 4220, FTA Master Agreement, Code of Ethics, Buy America,
Anti-Lobbying, Non-Debarment, Cargo Preference, DBE, EEO, and Davis-Bacon.
