Purposes:

The purpose of the Analyst is to assist the Manager of Area Support in all aspects of the Area's temporal affairs operations including physical facilities, welfare, finance, missionary, seminaries and institutes. Acts as staff to the Manager and by extentsion to the Director for Temporal Affairs. Under the direction of the Manager of Area Support provide exceptional service to the Director for Temporal Affairs, Area Supervisors, Presiding Bishopric, Area Seventies, and Stake and Mission Presidents. Provide analytical and technical support to other Church Departments.

Responsibilities:

- Understands Physical Facility, Missionary, Seminaries and Institutes and other PBO Department processes
- Completes in-depth and detailed analysis and research, identifies options, prepares reports, and recommendations for all assigned projects
- Organizes data into clear and concise presentations for executive committees
- Builds and fosters collaborative working relationships with other Church departments
- Manages a diverse work load that includes requests and tasks pertaining to all temporal affairs services
- Assists the Manager of Area Support in delivering an objective and critical view of issues related to process compliance and guidelines
- Provides quality information and reports in a timely and accurate manner
- Contributes analytical and technical support to assist in resolving physical facilities exception issues
- Provides assistance in coordinating and consolidating area temporal affairs annual plans
- Provides skilled technical support to the Manager of Area Support and Director for Temporal Affairs
- Maintains a working knowledge and skill set related to job-related processes, tools and technologies

Qualifications: 

- BA/BS required in business, management or related field
- Masters degree preferred, MBA or MPA desirable
- Two years experience in business, management, physical facilities, finance, or related field preferred
- Communicates clearly and succinctly on difficult and complex issues
- Able to work independently
- Strong teamwork skills
- Proven analytical skills and the ability to grasp complex and inter-related details
- Possess the capacity to process and successfully complete several large, concurrent, and complex projects
- Skilled in MS Office programs
- Able to consistently perform tasks with professionalism and accuracy
Worthiness Qualification:Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
