Job Type: Internship. Part-time but up to 40 hours per week (varies if the person hired has worked for BYU and how many hours they have averaged this calendar year)

Description: Assist in designing, developing, implementing and reporting research and evaluation projects related to missionary training. This is a temporary position, lasting approximately 4 months (May-August 2016).
1. Assist in designing and completing research and evaluation of MTC programs, policies and procedures
Work with Research and Evaluation staff to identify problems that need to be addressed and opportunities that need to be explored and write research proposals for gathering such data
Conceptualize and carry out research of training and development innovations that need to be evaluated
2. Organize and present information to key stakeholders
Make sense of complex and sometimes conflicting research data
Write reports and presentations in a way that facilitates understanding and that influences decisions being made at the MTC and Missionary Department
3. Assist in devising and implementing methods to address problems and answer questions that have never been addressed before
Prepare evaluation instruments (tests, surveys, interview guides, etc.)
Implement testing methods that meet the objectives of needed evaluations
