I have the great pleasure to announce the MCC 2015 Overseas Summer Internship Program. This year I am welcoming Brittany Pitts, Program Services Assistant, who will be instrumental in launching our 2015 program. We both look forward to assisting you throughout the coming process. MCC is currently in the process of determining which countries will be able to host interns in summer 2015. Concurrently, the Resident Country Directors are reviewing and revising the intern position descriptions to ensure that each intern will be provided with a substantive work portfolio. If your school is interested in partaking in MCC’s 2015 Overseas Intern Program, we will provide you with copies of the position descriptions and the list of participating countries no later than September 3 for dissemination to your graduate students. Our deadline for applications will be October 17, 2014. When applying, we strongly urge your students to include a cover letter with their resume submission – one country-specific letter for each country post applied for is best. We have noticed in past years that candidates who do not submit cover letters are at a disadvantage.
