Location: Casper, Wyoming
Incumbent is responsible for managing projects and/or programs to improve operational efficiency of assigned departments or functions. Responsibilities may include planning and executing events; analyzing business functions and recommending program policies and procedures; compiling and analyzing data; preparing statistical and analytical reports; and project management. Receives general supervision from assigned Division Manager or Department Head.
1. Manages on-going or special projects which include: establishing goals, timelines, tasks, and full implementation; conducting surveys; and completing reports.
2. Collects and analyzes data, prepares statistical and analytical reports, and provides recommendations. Researches, writes, and manages grants.
3. Provides complex, high-level support to a division manager or department director.
4. Provides support for the preparation of the annual proposed budget and adopted budget, including analysis of a variety of budget concepts, proposals and recommendations.
5. Researches and provides information to assigned supervisor for a variety of matters covering operations, budgeting, cost controls, and personnel staffing. Review, recommend, and prepare changes to ordinances dealing with the Administrative Services Department.
6. Interacts with a variety of staff, vendors, citizens, and others in the execution of special projects, development of policies and procedures, and on-going assignments.
7. May supervise employees and or work groups within assigned area.
8. Represents the City of Casper by responding to the public, citizens, its employees, and others in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner while continuously maintaining a positive customer service demeanor.
9. Follows all City safety procedures. Reports all accidents/incidents immediately to supervisor.
10. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
