Description: Directs and develops initiatives to improve quality, financial viability, sustainability and efficiency of services offered by the business unit. Facilitates business unit planning by developing and maintaining strategic analytical and financial tools. Collaborates with other UTA departments to make recommendations on strategic variables such as definition of new markets, service standards, benchmarking, pricing/fare policies, and customer satisfaction. Develops and maintains effective monitoring and measurement methods to analyze the performance effectiveness of the business unit and identifies actionable areas for improvement. Reviews, analyzes and interprets financial data to drive operational budget performance. Assists in the creation of annual budgets, budget metrics, key performance indicators and strategic objectives for the business unit. Organizes and teaches process improvement training throughout the business unit. Coaches and mentors on improvement projects. Serves as an integral member of the business unit leadership team.
